RULES
GENERAL RULES
1. Basic Decency & Respect; While our goal is to create an organic recurring roleplay community, we understand that people have limits. You're allowed to use anything in anyway IC, but please be mindful of people. This includes, Race/Gender/Sexual orientation/religion.
2. We want to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all players to enjoy whether you're new or experienced to roleplay, so please be friendly.
3. The Underworld takes anything offensive towards it's members extremely seriously, this will not be permitted at all.
4. We will enforce a strict code of conduct within our community and will act on anything we deem innapropriate or derogatory.
5. Remember we're all here just to enjoy ourselves, please have fun and remember it's just a video game.
Basically; be respectful and read the rules clearly, have justification and reasoning for your actions. Saying, 'this is what my RP is' will not be considered a valid response. Staff is always here to help with any matters or issues that arise no matter how big or small.
IN CHARACTER RULES
1. In the event there's an issue, complete the role-play scenario and create the ticket about the player if needed. Do not break character / inform the player they are breaking a rule in-game.
2. Do not bait players in game, in an attempt to make them break rules.
3. Roleplay shouldn't be stopped in the event of a server restart or become less serious before a restart; it should continue as normal.
4. Looting any player without much roleplay reasoning is not allowed - unless given permission in case of it being a teammate.
5. Meta-Gaming is a bannable offense, meta-gaming is using information that was not gained through IC interaction. Anything that was learnt outside of the server I.E, in the discord or reddit can not be used.
6. Powergaming is forcing someone into doing something when it doesn't make IC sense or to force them into making an action that will benefit you personally. I.E, pressuring someone into pulling a gun so you can kill them.
7. Drive realistically, if you crash think about whether that crash would have debilitated you IRL & remember your speed limits as well as red lights etc. You can disobey the rules of the road but this can result in the police catching and arresting you. Government employees also need to follow the rules of the road, if not this can result in you being removed from the job.
8. RDM (Random Deathmatch) & VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) Are the acts of violence without any real story or reasoning behind the acts. You can kill but please remember to have a story behind this. This means no running around shooting everyone & running people over for no reason with intent to KO or Kill.
9. New life rule is the act of forgetting what happened when you wake up in the hospital, I.E, Your gang went to a meeting and got killed, you're picked up by EMS and sent to hospital, every person who was downed in that scenario will have forgotten what happened. This means the information cannot be used.
10. You must try and contact medical help of some sort while incapacitated.
11. Fear/ Not Valuing your life, This means that you must value your life realistically, whether this be through being held up or if someone is pointing a gun at you.
12. Having non-spontaneous shoot outs at PD or hospital is not allowed. Gunfights can be started at either of these POI's but there must be a valid reason behind this.
13. Antagonizing gangs/police or armed individuals for no in character reason is not allowed.
14. Players should not be inserting themselves into ongoing situations or shootouts, between two groups or one group and the police. Unless there is a story reason behind this.
